Motivation. Something I definitely don't have. It's the desire to do things, and get them done. I don't remember the last time I had true motivation, and that's not a very good thing.
Research shows you can influence your own levels of motivation and self control. Please science, tell me how to do that.
I used to have so much motivation, I would go home and sit down with my school bag. "You have to do these science textbook questions or you're going to fail this course". I know that I was exaggerating, but it worked to get me motivated and work. I studied everyday, and was very dedicated to school.

Now, I can't even get myself to write a simple blog post. Whenever I try to tell myself to do things, I just shrug it off because we're all going to die someday, right? I know that's ridiculous. It obviously does matter because this is our life, and we only have one. So try hard, and do things you want to do. I understand that my brain's argument is stupid, but I still can't help but to listen to it. It's hard to argue against your own mind.
I want to be motivated. So in hopes I could do tricks to make me motivated, I researched it. There are some things that could help you get motivated such as "get inspired" and "think about it daily". That's very vague advice, so really what I took from it, is that it's a personal journey. You have to figure it all out by yourself.
I'm working towards that, figuring it all out. But until then, I'm trying my hardest.
